Hello everyone, how to display not all users, but only users corresponding to the client pc01-user01, pc02-user02 and so on

<eu^17610521724>
please help
17:05
<vagrantc>
i vaguely recall being able to highlight which clients you wanted to look at, and/or create a group of clients ... but it's been a while since i've tested epoptes
17:06
<alkisg>
!ltsp.conf
17:06
<ltspbot`>
ltsp.conf: Configuration file for LTSP: https://ltsp.org/man/ltsp.conf/
17:07
<alkisg>
Whoops LTSPDM_USERS seems undocumented :D
17:07
eu^17610521724: what is the pc name and what is the user name?
17:08
You need a regex similar to this one: LTSPDM_USERS="guest-*%{HOSTNAME#pc}"
17:08
This shows only "guest01" to "pc01"
17:09
Or this one: LTSPDM_USERS=".*%{HOSTNAME#pc}"
17:09
This shows all users that end to 01, in pc01, etc etc
17:10
vagrantc: instead of providing an https service, what if `ssh ltsp@server` from an ltsp client (=> the private ssh key is in the public x86_64.img image), returned information like the user geometry?
17:11
It would have a forcecommand configured, like "git" does, to only allow specific things to run with specific output
17:12
And we can make that a post-install configuration, e.g. with some `ltsp configure blah` command
17:14
pamltsp could use that to implement the account database, so that people don't need ldap in the chroot, and they don't need `ltsp image` and reboot every time the add a user to the server
17:15
<eu^17610521724>
thank you very much, killed the whole day
17:15
<alkisg>
eu^17610521724: eh, ask earlier next time :D is it working for you now?
17:16
<vagrantc>
alkisg: then you need to provide an ssh account configured, which might open larger cans of worms than https
17:16
<eu^17610521724>
yes, I started it on a virtual machine
17:16
<alkisg>
eu^17610521724: great
17:16
vagrantc: well, git does that, with great results
17:16
<vagrantc>
alkisg: true, git has a few more developers to create a restricted shell :)
17:17
<alkisg>
Yes but they need to support a whole git protocol, not just a "forcecommand to dump the user list"
17:17
<vagrantc>
fair
17:18
gotta head out ... more later
17:18
<alkisg>
But if you think https would be safer, sure I can go for that, it can probably be reused for pxe over http as well
17:18* vagrantc waves
17:18
<alkisg>
Cheers
