03:07	<encmonkey> oh- I tried CONFIGURE_FSTAB=false in lts.conf and building a manual fstab in the image. What it did was mount /home as nfs and /home/ian as sshfs. Made it pretty slow and still didn't work :)

13:24	When the client boots, run `mount` or `cat /etc/fstab` to see if /home was mounted with nfs or not.

13:25	I removed the screen line and am getting some oddness - checking that now
13:29	<alkisg> You can put SCREEN_02=shell and SCREEN_07=ldm so that you don't have to reboot.

21:56	it's not a good idea to do it from the thin client as you won't be able to detect the local devices properly
21:56	the local device support isn't perfect
