Hi alessandro_
07:43
Run this:
07:43
!vnc-dide
07:43
<ltsp>
vnc-dide: To share your screen with me, run this: sudo apt-get --yes install x11vnc; x11vnc -connect srv1-dide.ioa.sch.gr - this is a reverse connection, it doesn't need port forwarding etc.

13:27* alkisg waves to vagrantc
13:27
<alkisg>
There are a few things that need to be fixed in ltsp manager, e.g. the lack of ipappend 3, but I don't have time to commit them currently...
13:28
It's a busy period at work currently, so I think I'll get back to working on ltsp manager in a couple of months, probably in november
13:29
Btw I troubleshooted dgroos' LDAP issue a bit, and I think the problem is that pbis prompts for "password:", while LDM expects "Password: ", with a space after the colon
13:39
<vagrantc>
hah
13:39
to the latter
13:40
alkisg: and i guess ltsp-manager can wait a bit

14:16
<q9>
How do i pass fuse-options to an ltspfs-automount?
14:19
<alkisg>
q9 what kind of options?
14:20
<q9>
I want to remove the executable bit for non-folders
14:20
so umasl
14:20
so umask
14:23
<alkisg>
q9: what about /etc/fuse.conf, you only want those for ltspfs?
14:23
I don't think ltspfsmounter supports command line parameters, a patch would be needed
14:28
<q9>
Well, /usr/bin/ltspfs supports them on cmdline. I just cannot find a config-file for the automount.
14:28
<alkisg>
q9: ltspfsmounter is a python script that calls ltspfs
14:28
You would need to edit that one
14:29
It doesn't support configuration files, but since it's python, it would be easy to either edit it directly or add a config file
14:30
<vagrantc>
q9: what are you really trying to solve with that?
14:31
q9: couldn't the user just copy the file somewhere else and mark it as executable?
14:31
q9: or instead of calling "/media/USER/MOUNT/SOME_EVIL_PROGRAM" they could call "bash /media/USER/MOUNT/SOME_EVIL_PROGRAM"
14:31
or perl, or python
14:39
<q9>
vagrantc: I want less executable bits. The executable bits on the usbdrive leak into the working folder on my machine.
14:39
on syncing
14:42
alkisg: I'll look in ltspfsmounter, thanks
