| 14:21 | <nehemiah> We are using LDAP for our authentication. Our fat clients (haven't tried thin ones) have to issues with that, which I think might be related. When the screen locks, I am unable to unlock it with the correct password. Also, I don't think that the keyring (Seahorse) gets unlocked at startup. Can anyone help me with that?

| 19:45 | <ottch_> your ltsp image served up via pxe boot is doesnt seem to be configured for ldap. I seem to remember a specific issue involving the ldap lock screen and worked around it using Xscreensavers which utilized a different mechanism for authentication.

| 19:53 | <ltsp> LDM_PASSWORD_HASH: LDM_PASSWORD_HASH=True in lts.conf saves the password hash to /etc/shadow on login, so that the users can unlock the screensaver etc. If they happen to change their password though, that only takes effect until logout.
