| 00:18 | <alkisg> I've tested playing back video simultaneously to a dozen clients and it works fine on gigabit networks. I've used gstreamer to (a) read the input video only once, and (b) decode it only once. Without it, a dual core server can only decode a DVD video 4 times in real time => it can support only 4 clients. With this method, it could support e.g. 50 clients, so the only real limit is the network bandwidth.
