I usually just use -av, -a takes care of everything and -v for humans

<alkisg>
Eeeh so close. qemu-system-aarch64 -M raspi2 -kernel ../buster-raspbian/kernel7.img -drive file=buster-raspbian.img,if=sd,format=raw -serial stdio -dtb ../buster-raspbian/bcm2709-rpi-2-b.dtb -append "root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootwait"
13:50
This boots the latest raspbian in a VM, but the USB emulation is missing, so no networking, no mouse, no keyboard
13:51
I think the best for raspbian users currently will be to use a rw nfs share of that image, and a real rpi client to maintain it
13:51
chroot stil works, but ...meh, lots of problems with chroots
13:52

alkisg: python2 is being removed from debian; i think the only thing left is jetpipe ... looks like it may in theory be trivial to convert to python3
22:23
alkisg: so i've committed an untested jetpipe ... but dependencies for packaging need to be updated as well
22:23
or we just drop jetpipe ... or ltsp 5.x from bullseye
22:24
alkisg: i was thinking i do one last ltsp 5.x version and upload to fix those issues, if we want to maintain both ltsp19+ and ltsp5 side-by-side.
22:26
alkisg: i'm guessing you're inclined to drop jetpipe, based on past recollection
