| 08:05 | <Samuel_CTX> Hi all, I'm starting to look into LTSP, it looks interesting, but I have a (wierd) question: Is there an Windows (and Linux) client to connect to an LTSP server. I don't want to boot up in a thin-client moddel. (We have laptop users, that run all kind of software on there laptop, and basicly, need to run there virtual desktop as a full screen application.

| 08:09 | <muppis> Samuel_CTX, whole point of ltsp is use machine as a thin client and there is a script which can be used to connect to Windows with rdp. Becuase L in LTSP stand for Linux, there is no Windows client other than vnc or nx and those can be used without ltsp anyway.

| 20:44 | If your computer does not support PXE/network boot (and this is very rare, by the way), it can still boot from local media, such as a USB stick or the local harddisk, using GRUB iPXE, or some small Linux variant that can boot from tftp... not sure exactly, haven't had a client yet that doesn't support PXE. But it's possible.
