| 01:48 | I know you can set up thin clients that log onto the edubuntu server -- is there anyway you can set up a workstation (where all programs run off the local harddrive) but all log-ins go to the server and all user data is saved on the server? All support pages I'm finding talk about thin clients -- I want clients with harddrives but that log-on to the server

| 10:29 | nonix4: the second error with the client in hw could possibly mean that there are port problems. Does kvm run under root priviledges, so that it has access to ports < 1024? (=dhcp server)

| 10:36 | <alkisg> Right... well, ipconfig asks for a dhcp lease before the nbd mounting happens, so it seems like a dhcp problem.
