Hah, there's no "ltsp" package. Good, it can provide a migration path; ltsp can be the new "ltsp19", while all the ltsp-server/ltsp-client packages can be the old ones.

<Kiwi2>
Hi.
13:40
<alkisg>
Hello Kiwi2
13:54
<Kiwi2>
I think you are the programmer of epoptes .. maybe a year ago you already helped me with a problem ... now it's back
13:54
<alkisg>
What problem?
13:54
<Kiwi2>
I started a room with ubuntu 16.04 ... 16 clients and one teacher-pc
13:55
before our last update it was possible to access
13:55
all clients before anybody was logged in
13:55
now it's not possible any more. I can only control the clients when someone has logged in
13:55
<alkisg>
That means that the "system" epoptes-client isn't running, and only the "session" epoptes-client is running
13:55
<Kiwi2>
I think it has something to do with socat which has to run twice?
13:56
yes, it seems so
13:56
<alkisg>
Unfortnately I don't support the older epoptes version, 0.5, anymore, only the new one, 1.0, which is based on python3
13:56
<Kiwi2>
ah, ok
13:56
<alkisg>
You won't upgrade to 18.04?
13:56
<Kiwi2>
sooner or later I will
13:56
<alkisg>
OK, if it happens there, ping me
13:56
<Kiwi2>
good to know!
13:57
there was something in the log file ... openssl key doesnt' match or something like that. strange as it worked when I logged in
13:57
but I will wait until 18.04
14:04
see you then. ... bye

<josefig>
good morning o/
14:20
is there a way to logout a user when it's iddle for X time of seconds ?
14:20
let's say for 5 minutes
15:47
<alkisg>
josefig: sure, set your screensaver to logout
15:49
E.g. /usr/share/epoptes-client/endsession --logout
16:33
<josefig>
ok, thanks let me check
