I've tested doing this on a fresh install of LMDE 6, and swapping the Nvidia GPU to and AMD one and it detected the card just fine and chose the correct driver, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has done this?

| 10:34 | <quinox> In my experience, many many years ago it used to be a problem because the nvidia driver would swap out some of the graphical libraries making them incompatible with the ATI/nouveau setup
