I am having some trouble working with the ltsp-server package. Some modprobe error. Same error does not occur while using ltsp-server-standalone
which package is better and easier to use?
I want to use ltsp-server and achieve same results
derick_: what modprobe error?
You can use either ltsp-manager, or ltsp-pnp, or whatever else you prefer, ltsp will still work :)
okay. So this is the error
root@vagrant-Virtualbox:~# ltsp-update-image --cleanup /
modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:556 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file /lib/modules/3.19.0-25-generic/modules.dep.bin'

derick_: it sounds like you're trying to run this in a container that doesn't have a kernel installed
And you're using the host's kernel
So "modprobe" fails because you have no kernel modules in your vagrant box
okay. So installing the kernel will solve the problem?
*kernel module :P
derick_: any reason you want to do this inside vagrant?
You can either install it, or modprobe it on the host
Also, typing "alkisg" will show a notification so that I know you're talking to me
alkisg: thanks for the tip :)
alkisg: Yes I have to do this inside vagrant. It is my GSoC project.
Ah, this got approved? Nice
Do you get to select vagrant or docker or both?
thank you. I have to do both
